As Service Manager you will assume accountability for delivering the highest levels of service in this fast paced dealership and to improve CSI levels. You will report directly to the General Aftersales Manager and look after a team consisting of 8 Service Advisors, 2 Apprentices, 20 Technicians and 4 Apprentice Technicians who achieve a through put of 80-90 vehicles per day. Therefore you need to have a strong background in looking after and leading a large team of operatives.
You will be tasked with continuously monitoring the achievement of Customer Service levels and provide ongoing support to Parts and Sales Departments as well as developing Service Department Plans and Budgets to achieve agreed financial targets.
As a member of the management team you will need to contribute to the development of the business and to the public relation activities of the dealership.
You will need to implement and review the training programme for all members of staff to ensure the progressive development of all personnel along with monitoring and controlling the profitability and productivity of the Service Department.
