West Way Nissan is the UK's largest Nissan car dealership group. We now require an IT support worker to work out of one of our 4 Midlands branches in the Birmingham area.
The ideal candidate would need basic break fix skills and will provide systems support.
The IT support worker will provide 1st line telephone support for all IT related problems. This will include fixes over remote software and over the phone. hardware instillation and support - including pc configuration / laptops / ipads / printers / scanners / pdq, telephone systems, communications, switches and cabling, software troubleshooting and systems support. Experience of working in a similar role and having Comptia A+ certification would be ideal but training can be provided if necessary.
The job role would be ideal for a desktop support technician to work on a helpdesk and be the first line of contact for the employees.
The right candidate would be have able to work in a high pressure environment to meet deadlines given.
Experience in Microsoft products essential and windows operating systems essential as well as Microsoft exchange essential
To be able to work at own initiative and be a good trouble-shooter
Also to manage own time in-between site visits and manage calls coming into them from all sites.
