Currently we are looking to fill the position of

 

Global Parts Trade Manager

 

Based in Whitley, Coventry

 

 

Objectives

MSXI are currently seeking a highly motivated, dynamic and experienced individual to drive Jaguar Land Rover Trade Parts sales within the aftermarket arena, with Independent Repairers and Accident Repair Centres.

 

 

The Global Trade Parts Manager will strategically develop and deploy the JLR Trade Programme  to support the long term sustainable business growth of both the Jaguar and Land Rover Brands. 

 

This role will require an automotive professional with a passion for Trade Parts and a proven track record of developing Trade Parts Sales and Operations.  MSXI are also looking for an individual with a strong understanding of the Independent Repairer Market and the ability to identify potential opportunities.  As it is a global role, you will work closely with relevant National Sales Companies (NSCs) around the world and will be responsible for the strategic development and deployment of the JLR Trade business.

 

Candidate Responsibilities

·       Develop Strategy and Deployment of a JLR Parts Trade programme

·       Develop and roll out JLR Parts Trade Operating Standards, Guide and Training requirements

·       Support and further evolve existing trade programmes in the relevant markets

·        Support a JLR employee to scope, develop and implement new parts growth programmes, in addition to analysing markets sales revenue opportunities

·       Work closely with the central JLR Aftersales Marketing team to provide supporting sssets for market implementation

·       Manage and direct monthly JLR Parts Trade Steering governance meetings

 

Candidate Specifications

·       Experience of management of projects from conception to launch, including managing multiple projects simultaneously

·       Ability to work to tight deadlines

·       Ability to effectively prioritise workload

·       Strong leadership and management skills

·       Capability and interest in coaching team members. Coaching experience would be advantageous, but not essential

·       Strong and effective team player with the ability to develop strong working relationships at all levels

·       Ability to engage with and influence cross-functional colleagues and retailers

·       Experience of successfully managing a Trade Programme for another Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM)

·       The ideal candidate will have developed and launched a Trade Programme from a Global perspective

·       An understanding of the automotive aftersales business

·       Experience of project or supplier management, budget control and cost-effective delivery

·       Excellent business acumen skills – (ability to construct a business case)

·       Ability to conduct high level management meetings and reviews

·       Advanced knowledge of Microsoft packages to include; Project, Powerpoint, Visio, Word and Excel

 

 

Working hours

·       Full time 40hrs per week

·        Occasional overseas travel will be required to support deployment
