Innovation and a progressive outlook are also vital to our success so we’re now looking for a highly driven, forward thinking Divisional Parts Manager to join our us within our Jaguar Land Rover Division. This new role has been created to identify growth opportunities within our parts & service departments to maximise sales, control discounting structures and create and sharing best practice throughout the division.

Main responsibilities

  • Prepare, agree and implement sound business plan highlighting areas for improvement.
  • Understand the current competitive situation and create long term market opportunities whilst minimising potential threats.
  • Co-ordinate all parts & service departments in forecasting, reviewing, and revising business plans to show improvement and growth.
  • Establish and maintains regular contact with major parts customers and maximise customer satisfaction overall
  • Maintain a division wide stock profile that ensures availability of popular parts to maximise on service department sell up opportunities

This role will suit a senior Parts Manager with well-developed management and leadership skills and the ability to adjust style and approach to maximise team and individual performance. Although experience with JLR & Volvo brands would be an advantage, it is not essential. More important is that you’re a commercially minded business leader, recognised as having track record in identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing strategies for growth. You’ll thrive under pressure, be able to handle conflicting demands and have a strong sense of integrity, excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills along with an honest and respectful approach. You must also be flexible to travel across London, Home Counties, Essex and Central Scotland.
