Our client, a well regarded family owned company is currently recruiting for a Dealership Assistant Accountant in the West Yorkshire area.

The role is to support the Dealership Management Accountant & General Manager ensuring the accounting function for the Dealership runs accurately & smoothly.

Role Responsibility:
•Managing & overseeing the day-to-day functions of Accounts Assistants
•Working with the Management Accountant to finalise monthly reports
•Balance sheet reconciliations
•Completion of weekly debtor reports
•Preparation of of VAT returns

The ideal candidate will have:
•Motor Trade / Kerridge knowledge and experience
• A successful track record within an Accounts department, essentially with Assistant Accountant experience
•A strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel
•Experience of managing and working to deadlines
•A positive willing attitude to go over and above when required to meet business needs

Package Description:
•30 days holiday per year (including Bank Holidays) that will increase with length of service - pro rata for part time
