Are you an experienced Automotive Commercial Trainer seeking your next role? Are you looking to develop and produce sales training materials for our client – the largest British-owned automotive manufacturer?  Are you looking to a career that will allow you to complement an impressive product portfolio and develop future model programmes?

 

The Commercial Trainer will predominately based at our client site in Hinckley, with occasional travel to dealerships across the England to provide further training

 

 

Main purpose of the role

  • Acting as the main MSXI point of contact within the project, the Commercial Trainer will work alongside the Technical Trainer to develop the sales process and product.
  • Develop and delivery of core Sales training courses (predominately) and other topics such as Product, Technology, Brand Induction and soft skills.
  • Training materials will include e-Learning, classroom training, practical activities and support materials (learners’ guide, trainers’ guide, pocket books, assessments).
  • Undertake all aspects of administration in relation to training delivery i.e. completing course rosters, pre-course and post-course briefings, assignment/test scoring and inputting.
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with the customer management team.
  • Liaising with Project Manager, subject matter experts (SMEs), and other key stakeholders to identify target audience training needs.
  • Conduct stakeholder and SME interviews to determine, recommend and document project instructional standards, learner engagement strategies and evaluation plan
  • Design and develop course content included but not limited to measurable learning objectives, scenarios, simulations, audio scripts, progress checks, performance evaluations and knowledge assessments

 

 

Desired Candidate Experience

  • Relevant automotive training experience (motorcycle would be a differential)
  • Experience creating technical/tool training for systems-based learning
  • Project management skills

 

 

Competencies and Skills required

  • Relevant experience in an instructional design role/commercial trainer (senior level)
  • Demonstrated experience designing and developing ILT/eLearning materials
  • Proven experience explaining complex topics to a novice audience
  • Proven experience with coordination and organization for global initiatives
  • Demonstrated use of multiple learning methods and linking appropriate methods with learners and outcomes
  • Demonstrated adult learning implementation and driving performance through impactful training
  • Demonstrated ability to assess training effectiveness and ROI to stakeholders and leaders

 

 

Working hours

  • 40 hours (Mon – Fri)
