Our Client a group of Bodyshops are looking for Bodyshop Manager / General Manager to run 12 – 15 productive site

Objective:
·Formulate policies and procedures to achieve maximum sales of parts, labour, paint & materials and other sales
·Maintain agreed profit margin and return on investment by efficiently controlling stocks, assets and all financial transactions
·Achieve and strive to exceed all targets through an efficient Paint & Body Centre operation
·Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction
·Help Paint & Body Centre and Retailer to achieve industry-leading standards of process efficiency
·Ensure departmental compliance with company policies, manufacturer agreements and industry guidelines

Measures
·Margin on labour sales, parts sales, paint & material sales and other sales vs. objectives
·Labour productivity, efficiency, utilisation and cycle time
·Cost control vs. objectives
·Customer Satisfaction

Objective: Formulate policies and procedures to achieve maximum sales of labour, parts paint & materials and other sales

·Develop ongoing strategies to increase business in accordance with the growth/business plan
·Increase the volume of work by developing the Paint & Body Centre reputation for quality and excellence

Objective: Maintain agreed profit margin and return on investment by efficiently controlling stocks, assets and all financial transactions

·Analyse profit-and-loss status and prices and use the information to plan optimum capacity
·Ensure that the Paint & Body Centre achieves budget objectives by examining accounts, daily operating controls and composite figures
·Monitor financial expenditure to stay within budget and adjust budget to allocate resources in a cost-effective manner while remaining within budgetary guidelines
·Establish relationships with credit accounts, insurance companies and customers so that necessary repairs can be authorised

Objective: Achieve and strive to exceed all targets through an efficient Paint & Body Centre operation

·Monitor progress in achieving departmental goals in the areas of service and profitability
·Monitor productivity performance by individual technician
·Monitor financial performance weekly
·Identify opportunities to reduce costs

Objective: Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction

·Ensure customers are received courteously and efficiently, maintaining good relationships with them by meeting and exceeding their expectations
·Work to constantly improve the quality of customer service
·Handle dissatisfied customers calmly and resolve complaints sensitively
·Ensure essential Volkswagen courses are attended and the correct records maintained
·Answer customer questions in a manner that is easily understood and without excessive jargon

Objective: Ensure departmental compliance with company policies, manufacturer agreements and industry guidelines

·Ensure the correct recycling of all disposed and damaged items in line with environmental regulations
·Operate within the law at all times
·Ensure all health and safety legislation and internal procedures are followed
·Operate at all times within company policy
