Automotive / Motor Trade Job: HGV Technician Needed For Excellent Group - HGV Jobs Cambridge
Our client is a Commercial Vehicle Garage which is part of a larger group and are now looking for an experienced HGV Technician.
You will be overseeing over 180 Fleet Vehicles as well as servicing and repairing vehicles for their external customers in their state of the art workshop working alongside another 16 dedicated team members.
As part of its service it maintains its own fleet, making sure that all vehicles are not only roadworthy as a minimum but also kept in first class order throughout their life cycle.
As a HGV Technician you will be working as part of a team maintaining the fleet of Heavy Commercial Vehicles, from simple pre-hire maintenance checks to full service and repairs.
Due to the variety of the work you will also need to meet their customers expectations by completing work efficiently and to a high standard.
You will have a wide experience gained from working on a variety of makes and models of Commercial vehicles and be fully qualified with either NVQ Level 3 or City and Guilds in Commercial Vehicle repair. An equivalency and aptitude test will be offered on other qualifications and time served technicians.
It is expected that you possess your own full tool kit and that whilst training will be given you have a working knowledge of diagnostic equipment.
This role is based in Cambridgeshire therefore you must live near or be able to commute to the Cambridgeshire area.
