Immediate Start available - Commercial Vehicle Service Centre

Huddersfield / Dewsbury / Brighouse

Salary approx. Competitive depending on experience

We are working with this busy HGV Service Centre in the area. They are now looking to expand their highly skilled team with a skilled auto electrician.

Job Purpose: - A multi-skilled auto technician with good all-round technical expertise.

Key responsibilities: - An ability to diagnose electrical faults on vehicles using specialist diagnostic equipment and to then successfully repair or replace defective parts. Also ensuring all work is completed on time & within service schedules. Calculating & verifying the estimated parts required for repair. Ensuring the correct specialist tools are used to carry out repairs.

The ideal candidate will be a productive team player, able to work to deadlines and targets, self-motivated, organised and able to multi task. Experience of large trucks 7.5 tonne Lorries & above.

Experience in Scanias, Volvos and DAFS.

HGV licence level 2 desirable.

Working hours:- 7am-530 Monday to Friday & 7am-12 noon Saturday.

Overtime is available (time and a half) and you must have your own tools.
