As the Assistant Service Manager, you will work closely with the Service Manager. You will be responsible for supervising the daily function of the Service Reception area, ensuring Service Advisors follow company process when carrying out their daily tasks in a prompt and efficient manner and maintaining a professional department image at all times. You will also be required to liaise with the Collection and Delivery drivers and workshop staff to co-ordinate the work that is booked in.
You will be expected to oversee the staffing levels to ensure the reception desk is covered during staff absences, as well as greet, book in and update customers. You will also be required to oversee some of the duties of the Service Manager in their absence.
You will need to have experience of working in the motor industry, in either a customer service or workshop role. You must enjoy meeting people, have excellent communication skills and thrive on delivering excellence in everything you do. You will need to hold a full UK driving licence. The working hours are 08:00-18:00 Mon-Fri and 08:00-1.00 on Saturday's on a rota.
In return for your hard work you will be offered a competitive salary of up to £29,000 and bonus structure, company car, pension and 22 days paid holiday rising to a maximum of 25 days with length of service.
