Babcock International Group is currently looking to appoint an Apprentice Technical Trainer - BMW to work onsite at our Prestigious Clients training academy, BMW, based in Reading. The successful candidate will be responsible for the delivery of Automotive Technical Training to our clients' apprentices ensuring high levels of service across the academy as a whole are maintained.

The ideal candidate for this role will have a wealth of Automotive Technical experience at either Master Technician or Senior Technician level with excellent communication skills. Training delivery experience is not essential for this role but someone with a desire to teach others or previous experience of doing this in previous roles is highly preferred.


  • Develop and deliver Automotive Technical Training Programmes for Apprentices to enable them to achieve their framework and associated qualifications
  • Deliver and assess any knowledge and skills not provided by the learner's workplace
  • Provide guidance and mentoring to the apprentices' and their assessor as required
  • ­Monitor apprentices' progress in the other components of their Apprenticeship framework


  • Experience in an automotive retailer environment, relevant to SME
  • Relevant SME qualification/Apprenticeship
  • Recognised Training/Teaching Qualification - desirable
  • Experience in project delivery from conception to implementation
  • Knowledge of training design
